Just a quick update at Nong Khai border.

Get a 60 days exempt - without question or onward ticket after spending nearly 90 days on exempt/extension/ and border run in Chiang Khong.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user reports obtaining a 60-day visa exemption at the Nong Khai border without needing an onward ticket or facing questions, after nearly 90 days on exemptions and extensions. Comments include experiences of others with border runs, questions about obtaining additional 60-day extensions, and whether it's necessary to stay a night in Laos when crossing back to Thailand.

With the new 60 day visa...

Pass Port... can you get another 60day extension.

Then do border hop at Nong Khai for another 60days..

Thought it was single entry with this

I always use Nong Khai for border bouncing, never stayed a night in Laos if I'm not on a visarun.

I typically just go to buy 1 Beerlao and maybe something small to eat and bounce back.

Hmmmm 🤔🤔 that's not always required. Had you used an experienced border run service company to take you to the Thai Border, Bounce out and re-enter Thailand, that's all done same day.

And we have reports of no need to stay one NJ night in Laos using the Nong Khai border crossing.
