Did same crossing the other day wanted proof of stay and where ? Didn't ask when I was leaving Thailand or proof that I was,just wanted to know I had somewhere to stay the night I arrived

I always use Nong Khai for border bouncing, never stayed a night in Laos if I'm not on a visarun.
I typically just go to buy 1 Beerlao and maybe something small to eat and bounce back.

Hmmmm 🤔🤔 that's not always required. Had you used an experienced border run service company to take you to the Thai Border, Bounce out and re-enter Thailand, that's all done same day.And we have reports of no need to stay one NJ night in Laos using the Nong Khai border crossing.
