TLDR : Answer Summary
A user reports obtaining a 60-day visa exemption at the Nong Khai border without needing an onward ticket or facing questions, after nearly 90 days on exemptions and extensions. Comments include experiences of others with border runs, questions about obtaining additional 60-day extensions, and whether it's necessary to stay a night in Laos when crossing back to Thailand.

With the new 60 day visa...
Pass Port... can you get another 60day extension.
Then do border hop at Nong Khai for another 60days..
possible to make a round trip within the hour to obtain a visa exemption or better to stay one night in Laos

I have 3 exempt stamp before and 2 run
.. so officer was cool - just a night it ain't that bad I think.
Hmmmm 🤔🤔 that's not always required. Had you used an experienced border run service company to take you to the Thai Border, Bounce out and re-enter Thailand, that's all done same day.
And we have reports of no need to stay one NJ night in Laos using the Nong Khai border crossing.
