TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is seeking advice on how to transition to a new work permit and visa after their previous work permit expired in April 2020, and their Non-Immigrant visa is set to expire on November 10, 2020. They have found new employment and wish to avoid leaving Thailand or undergoing quarantine.

If you are non B. It probably already expired because of work permit expired in last April. Thanks to COVID no penalty. But you have to cancel previous visa then Extension with letter from the embassy. Once you have work permit book go to change to proper Non b again.

What visa do you have now.. ? Im guessing that you already have a 'B' visa because you had a work permit. ( Although it could be an 'O' visa) . If you have a 'B' visa and the name of your employer is written on it, then it's non transferable. So you'll have to get a new 'B' visa outside the country. If you have an 'o' visa , then your new employer just needs to give you supporting documents to help you obtain your work permit.
