Anyone know the costs associated? (Unsure that it matters, but it’s for my gf and I. From NZ)
Answer summary
To obtain an ED (education) visa in Hua Hin, it's recommended to contact local educational institutions directly. Insight English is mentioned as a potential option that can assist with the application process. Costs may vary based on the course of study and specific circumstances, and it’s essential to confirm the details with the chosen school. It's also advised to look for a school that can facilitate the conversion from a tourist visa within Thailand, as attempting to change at the Thai embassy in New Zealand can be quite costly.

Insight English almost certainly would be able to help, I think the costs vary depending on how often and what you want to learn and also other specifics to your situation but all the costs are clearly explained to you in advance.
The best way to get an ED (education) visa, is to contact educational institutions. Find a school you're interested in, and contact them. They're the ones who can tell you both the process and the cost.
You'll want to find one that can do conversion from tourist to education visa inside of Thailand, because the Thai embassy in NZ is the most expensive in the world.
