TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking recommendations for schools to obtain an ED visa in Thailand and is inquiring about the timeframe for receiving the visa. Comments include clarifications regarding visa eligibility based on the date of entry into Thailand, with specific mentions of two reputable language schools in Bangkok: Duke Language School and Rak Thai Language School.

Hands down the best thai language school in Bangkok and probably all of thailand is DLS (Duke Language School, 3rd floor Trendy Building Sukhumvit Soi 13).
The real question IS when did you enter the country?
The way it works for bangkok schools is you can get an ED visa/extensions up to one year from the date you entered, SO if you came into the country back before the lock down last March you can't get an in country ED visa for schools in Bangkok.
You should have no problem getting an ED visa thru either of those schools.
You need about 2 or 3 weeks for the school to get the paperwork from the ministry of Education so you can apply AND you need at least 15 days left on your current stamp when you do apply at the immigration office for the 90 day ED visa. So go enroll in a school to get the process started. :)
