Need some advice. I am a US citizen currently on an extension of stay valid to 6 May, 2022 Non O, retirement visa using bank method (800,000). Plan to visit US Nov to Dec. What method for re-entry would be best to use. Excuse my ignorance but I haven’t been out of country for almost 30 yrs. would appreciate your advice.

Yes make sure you go to immigration for the reentry permit before you leave. Bring passport photo and copies.

You will need to meet the requirements for entry back into Thailand at the time you seek application with the Thai Embassy or Consulate in the USA.

Be sure you have a REENTRY PERMIT in your passport BEFORE you leave Thailand.

suggest you get fully vaccinated while in the USA if not already done in Thailand. That may help you with your return to Thailand options for entry
