What is the best day to get a tourist visa extension in Chiang Mai, and are extensions available any day?

Need to get an extension at Chiang Mai Promenada. My tourist visa runs out on the 26th. 

Which day is best to go? I assume monday is the busiest, so I was thinking this tuesday (19th). 

(Also just making sure that visa extensions are possible on any other day than monday)

they're open M-F 8:30 - 16:30 and they're closed 12-13 for lunch. you can go any day you want to

My 3 strategies. 1. If you plan to go early...go very early, 50 people in line ahead of you before they open is late. 2. Go 10-11 am if they aren't out of tickets theyll give you one and tell you come back in the afternoon. 3. Show up late afternoon after 230, if it isn't busy anymore you are in and out. All depends on the day.

*minimun* 7am? That sounds a bit too crazy. I can't imagine. I remember going around 13 or something last time, and I finished 30 minutes after closing time. They made sure to handle all tourists. I'm not sure if that's common practice though. 7am sounds a bit too early. I got insomnia lol :/
