What was the applicant's experience with the DTV visa application process in Lisbon?

My DTV visa experience (Lisbon)

Russian citizen, holding a Portuguese residence permit, freelancer (self-employed, issuing Recibos Verdes).

Timeline:

* Applied June 6th through the Lisbon embassy

* June 25th, called the embassy and explained my flight was on the 30th, asked them to speed things up or I'd have to change my tickets. The woman answered right away, and literally 10 minutes later my status changed to "Pending Approval"

* June 29th (Monday), one day before my flight, got approved. No additional requests

Documents I submitted: 6 months of Recibos Verdes, Portuguese tax declarations, and 3 months bank statements from 3 banks (Revolut, Novobanco, Wise), all combined into one file with a cover letter for the ambassador.

Landed in Bangkok and went through immigration fast, no interview, no extra questions.

Already in Thailand now. Good luck to everyone applying, calling the embassy directly in my case really did the thing.
