Has anyone applied for an E-Visa and not received approval before your departure date (to Thailand)? If so, did you recieve it by email after entering the Kingdom and were you later able to use it by converting to, or doing a visa run? Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses experiences with applying for an E-Visa to Thailand and not receiving approval before the departure date. Community members clarify that if you enter Thailand on a different visa stamp, you cannot utilize the E-Visa until you leave the country and re-enter. They emphasize that the E-Visa remains valid for future entry if it is approved post-arrival.
as long as you enter before the end date on the visa, you should be fine. Just make sure you stamp out of Thailand, stamp INTO another country, and then return to Thailand.
You can't just turn around halfway on the bridge to another country for example.

Yes this does happen.
If you enter on any other stamp the e-visa does not count.
You would have to leave the country and re-enter on that e-visa to use it.

You can't use it once you're inside. You have to leave and re-enter if you want to use it.
