I submitted an application for Multiple entry tourist visa online and just got rejection email. Somehow passport expiry date went to default date . Email says reapply , does anyone know if you can get in to application and correct? Or do I have to make a whole new application? And will I need to pay again? Web site has me turning circles. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user received a rejection for their online application for a Multiple Entry Tourist Visa due to a default passport expiry date and asked if they could correct the application or if they needed to submit a new one. The consensus from responses is that corrections cannot be made to a submitted application; a new application must be made, and the user will likely need to pay the fees again.
You cannot change an existing application once it's been submitted. You would need to apply again. I don't believe there's any way to apply without paying.
email I received says don’t reply. If I can’t edit and have to submit a new application I assume I will need to pay another $200. I’ve tried every way of googling “how to correct online application “ and not finding an answer. This visa is supposed to be done from home country so I’m not even finding an agency here to help me
interesting. I've never heard of that before. The only status I've seen was for requesting additional documents which is all done through email because you can't upload new documents online once submitted.
it happened to me once a couple years ago dealing with the NY embassy, another time they asked for a separate letter to grant me a return ticket past 60 days, that was done through email.
I suppose a couple of years ago there was no e-visa set up and you were corresponding directly with the embassy Since e-visa system (started 2022) you can‘t interact with the embassy through mails or phone any more
i’ve interacted with the embassy i use after the evisa system was put in to place, it could have changed in the last year or it could just be the standard inconsistency between embassies.
