TLDR : Answer Summary
The TDAC (Thailand Digital Declaration) can typically be completed upon arrival at Thailand's airports, where kiosks are available for registration before passing through immigration. While there are some concerns regarding website access in China due to the Great Firewall, many travelers have successfully completed the TDAC process without issues, either using airport terminals in Thailand or during layovers in areas like Hong Kong. It is recommended to use a VPN if needed and to fill out the form as soon as convenient to avoid long queues.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be agents.co.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

The airport has DTAC kiosks.

I did mine during my layover in Hong Kong Airport. Had no problems. Processed instantly.

It's easy and fast, you can fill out the form while walkalating from your arrival gate to immigration.
David **********
As my friend from China told me.Climb the Wall (vpn)
David ******
The queues to do DTAC at Suvarnabhumi on Wednesday were almost as big as immigration, it will certainly save you time to do it before you arrive.
James ********
Just came back from china. The great firewall is really only targeting google stuff and reddit. It isn't going to block Thai government websites
Paul *******
@James *******
It blocks a lot of websites or slows them down considerably. The Bangkok Post website for example is not accessible in China.
Luc ************
Don't you have WiFi op the plane?
Robbie ********
The simple answer is you don't get in, but there are computers near the immigration section you can use to do it, 😉
Franki ******
I have a AIS roaming SIM and no problem doing it in Shanghai. I presume not many Chinese use VPN in China and they have no issues entertaining Thailand.

Do it when you land

you can file a TDAC in the arrival hall of the airport before you go to stamp in. At Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi they have kiosks (dunno about the other international airports)
Marco *******
@Tod ********
Same in Samui. They even have staff helping out people who didn't fill it out yet
Bob **********
Some airlines are requesting it when you check in but I’m sure China knows it’s tough the airports in Thailand has areas you can register it when you land,Good Luck

Stephen *******
It's a simple few minutes online registration that is free requires no money why on earth would you not comply to enter the country plus China has nothing's to do with it
Lloyd ********
Jeez, thousands of Chinese tourists visit every day, so of course there is no problem!
Lloyd ********
You don't have to do it in China!
Kevin ******
@Lloyd *******
it is blocked but there is no problem if one has a VPN.
Ryan ********
Can you confirm that the TDAC website is blocked in China? I have been wondering about this.

You do it in the airport on your phone or on one of the provided TDAC terminals before immigration. However I very much doubt China has blocked the TDAC website.

Be aware that Google doesn't work in China, along with everything else you probably use on your phone at home. You have to use Bing to access the internet unfortunately.

@Dan *********
That's not true. I've just come from Shanghai to CNX. The WiFi at Shanghai Airport worked just fine and, with my VPN, I was able to access all my usual Internet connections.
Dan **********
@Geoff ******
The WiFi at Shanghai was dogshit a few weeks ago, and my usual VPN didn't work because you can only use a few that the Chinese use.
Geoff *******
@Dan *********
You're right. Six weeks ago the Shanghai wifi wasn't working. This week was OK. No problem with VPN.

that might be an issue with your phone or browser. Try clearing your cookies etc or a different browser. It could also even just be an issue with the website, they are notoriously known for not being very well made.

Regardless though, even on the very slim chance it is blocked, or there is an issue with the website, you have options Thai side, if worst comes to worst there are kiosks just before immigration you can do it on.
Rebecca *******
You do it when you land.
Lloyd ********
You can do it after you land

Use a VPN or just do it at the airport.

They won't let you in,
@Bry***

The worst, don't do it , don't enter
