Hello,

I have a visa application question!

At the moment a friend (German passport) is applying for a non0 90 day single entry Visa.

The webpage of the RT consulate Frankfurt, states that the financial requirement for the 90day single entry visa is 5000€ in the bank for the last 3 months.

Now, the online application wants an upload of proof of 65000 THB monthly income or 800.000 THB in the bank.

What is he supposed to upload?

Just a statement with 5000€ for the last 3 months?

Any help would be greatly appreciated 👍

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the financial proof needed for a non-O 90-day single entry visa application for their friend applying at the Thai consulate in Frankfurt. The consulate's site states a requirement of 5000€ in the bank for the past 3 months, but the online application requests proof of a monthly income of 65000 THB or a bank balance of 800.000 THB. A commenter advised the applicant to follow the instructions provided by the consulate they applied to, as they will clarify any additional information needed.

If your friend chose the Frankfurt consulate to start the application, then just submit what that consulate shows since they are the ones processing the application. If they have any issues they will email the applicant to ask for additional information.

so, it's actually that particular consulate that process the application? I thought the Thai visa page is a centralised system and applications get processed there.

So, you think it's okay just to upload the bank balance of the last three months?

it's not centralized. The consulate you choose at the beginning based on where you're located are the ones who do the processing.

But the evisa system is the same for every consulate that uses it so it can't have the requirements for each consulate because it's for everyone. So meet the requirements of the processing consulate and it should be fine. And then if they don't like it they'll send an email for additional information.
