TLDR : Answer Summary
The term 'Port of embarkation' in the context of a DTV application refers to the last city or country you depart from before arriving in Thailand. It typically indicates your departure airport, including examples such as the city and country where your flight begins. For instance, if you fly from London to Bangkok with a layover, your port of embarkation would be London, UK, even if you connect through another city.
Port of embarkation is the last country/city you departed from before arriving in Thailand. So if arriving on an Emirates flight and contecting in DXB the country is UAE and the flight number will be EK### . Whatever is on you boarding pass into Thailand

Its the departure airport, where the whole trip began. I put Des Moines; now obviously I'm not flying to BKK from DSM, but DSM is the port of embarkation.

Where is your flight or boat etc leaving from before arriving Thailand. In the TDAC for example if I was flying Emirates from UK to Bangkok with stopover in Dubai I would be putting my Dubai to Bangkok flight in the system
