TLDR : Answer Summary
The stamping of 'void' on a Thai visa after it has been granted indicates that there may have been issues with the application, documentation, or subsequent reviews by the consulate or embassy. Various commenters shared experiences of similar situations, highlighting that it could be due to lacking paperwork, prior immigration issues, or specific consulate policies, especially for applicants from countries with high rates of overstaying. The process often involves third-party agencies like VFS, which could complicate communications regarding visa approvals or denials.

Sam Khan Visa is expected to be the actual permission to enter a country. If this is the case, it is good impression for a country to correct a faulty procedure.
The conditions are bad in Pakistan, too many people have entered into Thailand and started to work illegally at Indian or Pakistani restaurants. Maybe this chap is legit but no one can change the mindset or decision taken by the Thai consulate.
VFS is a 3rd party agency who work on behalf of the Thai embassy. The docs are submitted at vfs and then sent to embassy in Pakistan. So they didn't approve his visa.
yeah, it happened twice for my client who applied in India. but we use the same document to apply in another country and everything was fine. I don't know why.
There is any number of reasons that the visa would be voided, but usually when you're applying at a thai consulate they're pretty good about checking your paperwork..
No refund :/ That's what's good about the thai consulates in neighboring countries, IF you don't have the right paperwork or something they won't take your application or money
