TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the requirement for travelers to Thailand to provide a name of a quarantine hotel or leave that section blank when applying for visas. Users share their experiences, indicating that it's acceptable to leave it blank or provide home addresses instead. Some emphasize the importance of booking a quarantine hotel in advance, while others suggest providing a guarantor's information instead of a hotel name. The conversation highlights varying opinions on whether the hotel name is mandatory and the implications for travelers.

I thought paper applications were obsolete now and everyone had to apply through the dreaded thaievisa.go.th.

I don’t think you can stay in Thailand unless it’s one of there chosen of hotels nobody is being let in again unless it’s financially viable to the government or going to stay in 14 days quarantine
