My spouse and I are interested in working remotely and getting an LTR visa (I qualify as far as I can tell) - trying to find out insurance options. How much do you all pay for your health insurance?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the health insurance requirements for obtaining an LTR visa in Thailand for a couple interested in remote work. One commenter shares that the insurance must have a coverage of at least $50,000, and suggests finding the cheapest option with a high deductible, mentioning a cost of around $200. They note that insurance is not required at the time of application, but must be provided later.
LONG TERM RESIDENT (LTR) VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES
It's a very simple insurance requirement. One year of insurance at $50,000 on coverage I believe it was. I just went online and found the cheapest I could get with a high deductible to meet the requirement. Cost maybe $200 and worked fine.
You don't even need the insurance to apply. You can find out if you're approved and then you can upload the insurance when you make your selection on how you'll be picking up the visa.
no clue. I have my own insurance through my job but it won't work for the LTR so I just bought the cheapest thing I could as a throwaway with no intention on ever using it.
