TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on what documents are necessary to extend their stay in Thailand for an additional 30 days after utilizing a 45-day visa exemption. One comment clarifies that there is no 45-day Visa on Arrival; instead, the user likely means they traveled under a visa exemption, and mentions that specific requirements can vary by office.
you're wrong. TM6 is only temporarily suspended for air entry. If you arrive via land or sea you'll receive a TM6 and you must have it with you for an extension.
these days I'm tempted to believe more people enter by plane than by land
anyway couldn't it be more accurate to precise what's needed in every different case π€πjust wandering
.I can picture the guy who arrived by plane and is freaking out because he can't find this damned TM6 , that he is supposed to give to get his extension .
