What documents do I need for my Hanoi DTV application as a freelancer?

Got a request for these two documents for my Hanoi workcation dtv application

I’m a freelance worker with over $17,000(500k+ tbh) in income the past three months. Recent bank statement, I input three months of bank statements demonstrating over 500,000 in my savings account for my September October and November statements(still waiting for my bank to give me my December statement). So not too sure what I should add for my bank statements?

For the second thing that they requested, I am a freelancer working for myself, and I specified this in my cover letter, describing the work I do and how I attract my clients etc, so I’m unsure of how to demonstrate “business registration for the company I’m working for “sent them a contract with one of my clients for 900 usd, payments from over a dozen clients clients, some of which were 1000 usd+, etc through Zelle, PayPal and Venmo, as well as advertisements that I attract my clients through.

I was denied in the us for dtv soft power so I really don’t want to be denied again! Please help in any way, thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Hanoi and is unsure about the required documents. They have provided bank statements indicating significant income but lack formal business registration. The conversation highlights the need for registered business documentation, additional bank statements, and alternative ways to verify income, such as using client business registrations.

Add your December statement and also add a statement/login screenshot from then till now. They did ask for up until present. Either present your business registration or the registration of a client that you have. Get creative and wing it, coach.

Sounds like your running a cash business, while you may make money they want to see legitimate business income. registration of business, tax returns or submissions to your home tax office for the business. If your business is cash in the hand and your not paying tax or declaring income they are not going to accept it. There's nothing wrong with cash work but when it comes time to prove your income for a loan or a visa or another reason it's not much good.

For the second, it seems they want the business registration license of any of your customers (assuming they're companies and not individuals). They might want to confirm those companies exist.

hi Elias, my clients are individuals I work in coaching so I’m not too sure how to demonstrate the business proof, any ideas/tips?

Anonieme deelnemer they want proof of your business. Even if you don’t have a company, you still do tax filings.

I included the official tax filings of my business, as proof my business is legit and has real income, and was approved without further questions.

I can see why you were denied soft power, it's not for remote work. Get the business registration of one of the clients you used in your application, sounds like they want to verify they are legit. And adding the December bank statement

I was denied for soft power because my Muay Thai course was too short, was given metv instead, didn’t apply with my business info for soft power

I just submitted my portfolio.. first time I just sent them links to my 2 websites, but that was rejected, so I basically took a screenshots from my 2 websites and crammed it into a compressed pdf file... they were happy about it this way... did not need any contracts etc. (london embassy)

May be they want for December bank statement since now already Jan .

Just suggesting - Business registration of company- does any of ur clients have company? - you may use their company profile and license registration.
