I’d like to ask for advice from anyone with experience regarding the DTV Visa Extension. 🙏

I currently hold a DTV visa, and my 180-day stay is set to reach its limit on September 27th. I would like to know whether I can apply for an extension to stay in Thailand directly, or if it is required to leave the country first and then re-enter?

An extension application can require all, if not more, of the information and documents you supplied to obtain the visa. Some immigration offices even refuse to do it, so most ppl do a border bounce to refresh your stay.

I would recommend doing a land crossing, which works out easier and cheaper.
