I applied 1 week ago via london and was approved for workcation today

All i submitted was

passport

ISA savings

council tax letter with my home address

Contract..... I am staff with salary that was stated saying what vessel i am on with location in Brazil with my rotation 4 weeks on 4 weeks off

i never had any additional documents requested and it was alot easier than made out on here when many said diffrent

It might have helped i had a TR visa during covid and was already in the system who knows

I have the contract / agreement as employee only

Interesting. Many people claimed the workation DTV can only be obtained based on remote work, but not offshore work - and that offshore / seasonal workers would need a soft power DTV. I guess you either proved that wrong or just slipped through.

I worked offshore for 20 years as a seaman. Never needed a visa when in Thailand because as a seaman ur on transit.Every trip with a seaman ticket.

I feel like it's easy when you actually fit all the requirements and actually have the funds and actually have a real job. Mine was similar. No questions asked, easy approval, no problems border hopping either.
