Could some fellow Aussies help me out. this may have been posted before but I just need your guidance if someone can help. 

So I’ve been on ed visa for a year and living in Thailand. 

Heading back to Australia on the weekend to apply for the DTV soft power. 

Could you tell me what proof I need to show the embassy as I, don’t have a car licence, the only bill in my name is a phone bill. I’m just staying with a friend while I apply. Could I provide a statutory declaration of where I am ??

I went and got a letter from my bank and they gave it an official stamp as well.

I have used my boarding pass coming into Australia. That was my proof of current location.

Do you have an Australian bank account? Your address on the bank statements should also work.

Australia doesn't have a national ID system.

Address proof is from either utilities or financial institutions

Also feel like you can have Australia post make a ID card, called keypass from memory
