Assuming we are able to get the transfer complete into our Thai account in time, we will head to immigration to apply for our non-o visa for purposes of retirement. We will have these documents:

Copy of:

data page

30 day extension stamp page

Tm 6 card

Tm 87 filled out

4cm x 6cm photo

Bank passbook updated same day

Letter from bank showing deposit

2000 baht

Anything else? Do they care about tm 30? Do we need a copy of original 45 day entry stamp?

I understand we need to go to cw. We've only been to mtt so far. While that turned out to be easy, it seemed complicated at first. Any tricks to getting to cw? It's called division 1, it that where we tell the taxi to go? Which counter do we go to inside? Thanks again.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing to apply for a Non-O visa for retirement in Thailand and lists the documents they have, seeking confirmation if they need additional items, particularly concerning TM30 and the 45-day entry stamp. Comments provide information on required documents, including copies of passport pages, bank book pages, and additional bank letters. It's NOT the transfer the money into the country in time because to apply for the initial 90 day Non-O visa there is no seasoning on the funds (it just needs to come from abroad)

The linch-pin is having enough time on your entry stamp or extension to cover the under consideration period. In Bangkok you need at least 15 days or more to apply for an in country Non-Imm visa.

At Chaengwattana you want counter C-1 <- that's the counter that issues in country Non-Imm visas.

You go here

- since we are trying to get this done before we reach the 15 day cutoff, it is the transfer of money into the country that is our only concern.

@Bonnie ******
did you already apply for the 30 day extension? If you did and you still need more time, then apply for a 60 day covid extension to buy you more time.

You'll need at least the 15 days AND the money in your account when you apply for the visa

You'll also need copies of your passport pages, with your data page, your entry stamp, and any other pages they decide is needed. You'll also need copies of your bank book pages showing your data page, and your deposit history. Tell the taxi Chaeng Wattana immigration, and they will take you to the back of the all the buildings and where you enter. After you enter through security go to the immigration entrance, go past the first counter on the right, go through the door, and to the right you will see a counter. Go there and get your queue number with the section letter on it, L, and your queue number. Go to that section to the left from the counter, and sit down until your number is called. You should also have two bank letters, one stating it is your account, and another showing your deposit history covering the last two months at least.

My bank missed updating the bankbook, they did copy it and sign the copies but that wasn't enough. Luckily the bank was open at the immigration (not the same that made the mistake).

It was not enough that I had the bankbook with me and verified copy of same day. It has to have a line stating the same date!
