Will arrive in Bkk on 1st June. And since Indian citizens are currently having visa exemption do I directly goto immigration or to the visa on arrival counter for my exemption stamp? Also do I need to show any documents (hotel stay, onward flight ticket, cash requirements etc.) for the visa exemption stamp?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Upon arrival in Bangkok on June 1st, Indian citizens can go directly to the standard immigration counters rather than the Visa on Arrival counters for their exemption stamp. It is advisable to have documentation ready, including proof of accommodation, onward flight tickets, and evidence of sufficient funds.

You go to the "standard" counters at passport control, not the counters for Visa On Arrival.

As a rule, you should have 3 proofs (accommodation, onward travel, funds), better to be prepared than to be sorry without them.
