Your prospective employer will need to apply for your work permit approval prior to your arrival. You will then need to apply for a non-B visa from a Thai Royal Embassy in India. I believe there is a requirement for a bond that is posted into your passport when you get the visa. It takes about a week to get the non-B visa in India, and you must apply through VFS.
