Hi, i went today to immigartion office in Phuket to do family visit 2 months extension on top of my Non-b visa expired in May.
I needed to have:
1. Passport
2. Photo
3. Filled 2 forms that i got at the spot.
4. Birth certificate of my daugther in Thai
4. Copy of blue book where my daughter is registered.
5. Copy of 3 pages in my passport (photo, visa, arrival card)
I was stamped until 16th of November. I checked already in home that it should be until 24th of November not 16th. I will go back to immigration office in next few days and ask why they started my extension today not after 26th of September.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user reported their experience at the Phuket Immigration office for a family visit visa extension, highlighting the necessary documents and the confusion regarding the start date of their visa extension. They provided a detailed list of required items, including their passport, a photo, and the birth certificate of their child in Thai. The user was initially stamped until November 16, but based on information related to amnesty extensions, it should have been until November 24. They planned to return to immigration to clarify the discrepancy.
okay, one last time, CHECK YOUR STAMPS before you leave the immigration office. ALL extensions for people on amnesty issued from Aug 1 until Sept 26 are supposed to start from Sept 27th, meaning a 60 day visit thai family extension should get you stamped in until Nov 25th.
Don't be afraid if questioning them about it, and sticking to your guns as far as when the extension is supposed to start.
I called my lawyer. She said this type of extension is valid from the day of application. I am not sure if she is right. Did some people get this extension (visit a family) from 27th of September?
my husband did do 60 days extension based on marriage visa today at Phuket immigration. it took 35mins and It was not busy at all. We arrived at8:55am and left 9:30am with the stamp. The extension date from today till 17 November.
