I am preparing to do my next Non-O Retirement visa extension using the monthly income method. I'll be going to Chaeng Watthana.

For the first two months I used my Bangkok Bank account to receive my international deposits. And the last 10 months, I used my KBank account to receive deposits.

I assume I'll need to get Credit Advices for all the deposits, bank printed statements (2 months from BBL and 10 statements from Kbank) and bank letters dated within 7 days of extension application from both banks.

Is this correct?

I can only speak to Sakon Nakhon immigration. They require the letter and account statement dated the same day as application.

Bangkok Bank may not be willing to comply. They refused to give me any documentation . I switched to Kasikorn Bank (suggested by the Immigration Officer!) so next year I can get the 800,000 out.

If it’s the first time switching from 800,000 baht bank lump sum to the monthly deposit method most offices want to see documentation for both. Meaning u should show u still have the 800,000 in the account AND you have been depositing monthly.

you're correct. But this will be my second year of using the monthly income method. I just changed banks shortly after my last extension.

800k for the first 3 months of the extension then never below 400k for the rest of the year

right you have to show you met the seasoning requirement for the extension you're on NOW using banked money method (have kept the 800K in the bank for 3 months after the extension was granted and then never letting the balance go below 400K the rest of the year)

AND

You have to prove you transferred in a minimum of 65K baht a month each, month, every month for the last 12 months for the extension you're applying for
