Hello everyone, I have a Thai wife and I got my marriage visa at the start of this year through an agent. I need to renew it in January but I wish to do it myself as it was pretty expensive last time. Can anyone tell me what I will need to take with me and where to go please?
I have a 3 month old daughter born in Thailand as well, will it help to take her birth certificate?
Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking information on how to renew their Thai marriage visa themselves, after previously using an agent. They inquire about necessary documents to bring for the renewal and ask if a birth certificate for their Thai-born daughter will be helpful. The comments provide detailed advice on required documents for the extension of stay based on marriage, including financial proofs, copies of passports, marriage and child birth certificates, as well as specific photos that showcase the family's residence.

Extension of stay in TH based on marriage to a TH citizen:
1. THB 400k “season” for at least 2 months in a TH bank account or embassy affidavit stating you have an income of THB 40k per month overseas prior to application.
2. Copy of your passport and wife sign by her and yourself.
3. Copy of valid non O visa page and last entry stamp to TH sign by yourself.
4. Copy of wife tabian baan / ID card sign by her, birth certificate of child sign by both of you.
5. One page photos of you , wife and kid showing house number and inside house in the room or dining table etc.
6. Copy of marriage certificate sign by both of you.
7. Copy of TM. 6 arrival departure White card.
* Bring all original documents during application*
And it will cost you THB 1,900 upon complete submission and will be stamp under “consideration for 30 days” where you will come back to collect your one year extension of stay stamp.
