I'm getting ready to apply for the Thailand DTV. I currently do remote work but it is contract / per task work, and I cannot get a letter of employment.
3 months ago I sent email to the Thai Embassy in LA with a screenshot of my payout schedule but they replied that this is insufficient.
I have been to Thailand 3 times before each with a tourist visa, about 60 days at a time, no overstays.
Since then I have started my own business with business license( issued 2 months ago ), created an online portfolio ( [himilou.github.io]([members only]) ), designed and invoiced clients for websites and created invoices for all my remote work.
I also own a rental property.
I have had more than the required 15,000 USD in a savings account for over 3 months.
I am planning to send them my license, copies of my invoices for all digital work. Bank statements showing monthly income though the bank statements will not line up with the invoices directly because my tenants pay digitally so I often get large combined deposits from paypal etc when I move money to my account.
I have a clean criminal background.
Is this going to be sufficient for the DTV? I don't really want to blow $400.00 if this seems like a rejection scenario, but I want to go to Thailand for 6 months solid and not have to worry about visa runs, extensions, etc that I could get with a multi-entry tourist visa.
Thoughts and opinions?
Thanks in advance
