Has anyone applied for the Thailand Workation Visa in Ho Chi Minh recently? If my 500k THB balance has only been stable for the past month (not the past 3 months), is that still acceptable?
My funds are split between Revolut, Wise, and Stripe.
Is it ok to combine the statements as long as the total is over 500k THB?
Do I need monthly statements for each account, or are current balance screenshots enough?
What are the most common reasons people get rejected for this visa at the HCMC consulate?
Anything specific I should prepare so the application goes smoothly?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the Thailand Workation Visa application process in Ho Chi Minh City, particularly regarding the stability of their bank balance over the past month and the acceptability of combining financial statements from different sources. Concerns are raised about the nature of the funds held in accounts with Revolut, Wise, and Stripe, and whether current balance screenshots suffice over traditional bank statements. Comments highlight that only funds from recognized banks are generally accepted, with Revolut being acceptable depending on the user's residency and circumstances. It is noted that many applicants are not informed of specific reasons for rejection.
Revolut should be OK as it has an EU banking licence (I'm assuming you are from an EU country). Stripe and Wise are of no use as they are not banks. While they want to see 3 months of statements I think a closing balance above 500k baht on the most recent months statement is ok
stripe funds dont count. need to be in a bank. Revolut works if registered in the UK by a UK resident, if not it may not be considered a legitimate bank. There are reports of rejections when people attempt to use WISE as finantial evidence as it does not have a banking licence
