Hi, I have a question. I’m planning to apply for a DTV for remote work at the Thai Embassy in London at the end of this month.
I have the equivalent of THB 500,000 in savings, and I’ve been employed full-time for the past three years. I can provide P60s and payslips as evidence.
My concern is that I’m planning to fly to Bangkok on 1 September, but my new remote job will not start until mid-September. Could my DTV application be rejected because I cannot yet show income from the new job in my bank account?
The company I'm working remote for, which is UK-based, can provide my employment contract and a letter confirming the remote-working arrangement. Would this be sufficient?
Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated. Thanks
