What documentation do I need to provide for a Thai visa as a digital nomad registered in Estonia?

Hi all,

The Thai embassy in The Philippines asked me the following thing:

“Employment contract or employment certificate in their country or professional portfolio showcasing digital nomad, remote worker, foreign talent or freelancer status : Please upload a copy of your company registration in “my home country”, certificates of courses you have attended, and employment certificates from your previous companies as proof of your professional experience.”

However, my business is registered in Estonia as an eResident, as explained in a cover letter and the registration uploaded to the portal and explained. Yet they ask for a registration in my home country now.

Any tips on how to address this properly?

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on how to address a Thai embassy's request for documentation related to their business registration, as their business is registered in Estonia as an eResident. They have provided a cover letter and registration documentation but now face a requirement for proof from their home country.

Create a self-signed work contract that includes the following:

A clear explanation of your business activities.

Details of your working conditions.A statement confirming that you do not intend to take employment from Thai nationals.A declaration that your work is conducted exclusively online for your own company.

The contract should be signed and dated by you.

2. Provide a screenshot or a scanned copy of your official business registration document, clearly showing your business registration number and the country or jurisdiction of registration.

Anonymous participant I’m really not sure what else you can do because it sounds like you you’ve already provided enough for most embassies.. Hope someone else here can advise you..

Judging by recent posts, it unfortunately seems the Manila embassy is becoming increasingly strict with applications.
