Can anyone tell me what I need for when I return to Thailand after a 3 week holiday in the UK.
Going home to renew passport.
Iv got a non b visa and work permit.
I come back on the 14th September, my work permit ends on the 17th and I will have my new permit ready to pick up soon as I’m back.
I will have my non b visa in my old passport not my new passport.
Will I need Thai cash ?
Will I need a Thai address?
Will I need a onwards flight booked ?
Will I need to show anything to do with the TM30 form ( been staying in hotels)
Thank you for any information you can help me with.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is returning to Thailand after a holiday in the UK and has questions about necessary preparations, considering they have a non-B visa and a work permit that is about to expire. Key concerns include whether they need Thai cash, a Thai address, an onward flight booked, and whether they need to show anything related to the TM30 form. Comments provided suggest the importance of carrying both the old and new passports since the non-B visa is in the old one, indicating it remains valid for re-entry even if it is expired.
Just keep both passports together. When you stamp out or back in they will use your new one. When old visa expires they will just transfer it over. Whatever you do don't cut the corner off the old one until it's totally out of use.
IN that case you will use BOTh passports entering/exiting thailand until the year-long, multi-entry Non-B visa in the old one expires. You will use the VISA (which is still valid even in an expired passport) to get in to thailand and they will stamp you in and out on the new passport
