Hi,

First of all, thanks for all the information I see here.

I want to know more about the medical dtv visa.

What treatments are accepted? mine is backpain and knees issue

Which country is the best for it (Vietnam)?

To give more context, I was working in Thailand for 2 years with a work permit, so I have a Thai bank account.

I moved back to my country 2 months ago but I would like to come back on the DTV medical reason visa.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the DTV (Medical) visa to Thailand, specifically regarding accepted medical treatments for back pain and knee issues. They seek guidance on what documentation is necessary, including a long-term treatment plan from a recognized doctor. Additionally, they are considering Vietnam as an alternative for treatment and provide context about their previous work and residency in Thailand.

Simply saying you have a bad back is meaningless. You need a treatment plan signed off by a recognised doctor at an official thai hospital with official stamp that's at least 6 months in duration

What treatments do you need would be a good start! EDIT: I see you added backpain and knee. You will need to find a Dr / Clinic that will detail you a long term treatment plan.

For what kind of documented medical reason?
