This thread discusses the DTV visa application process for medical treatment in Thailand. Several users share their experiences and provide valuable insights regarding required documentation, such as a treatment plan from a licensed doctor, and the overall ease of the application process. Users mention various treatments, including dental work and chronic illness treatments. Recent changes in requirements and the importance of a legitimate medical plan are highlighted.
Now you need a treatment plan written out by your Thai doctor, that is pretty easy to get for legitimate medical conditions. This is the one category of the dtv that hasn't been scammed to death like Muay Thai, and cooking classes.

My gf and I applied for and were approved for Medical DTV about a year ago in Hanoi. At the time all we provided for documentation was a single appointment for a comprehensive health checkup, along with a cover letter explaining our expectation of future medical appointments. Not sure if that would still work, but π€·π»ββοΈ
