Heads up to anyone that wants to do an emergency extension based on using your letter from the embassy regarding covid-19 at Nonthaburi immigration.

I was just at Nonthaburi immigration with all required documents (Tm30, Tm7, copy of visa etc) **on top of that, now they want you to supply pictures of you in all of the rooms in your house e.g living room, bedroom etc. They also require pictures of you in front of your room showing room number and in front of your condo/apartment etc showing name of condo and street number. They also want a map printed out of where you live.

As far and as well as I could understand what he explained, This is only for the extension based on being unable to travel due to covid-19 using your embassy letter.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Recent updates at Nonthaburi immigration require applicants for emergency visa extensions, based on Covid-19 embassy letters, to provide extensive proof of residence. This includes photos of the applicant in all rooms of their home, images showing the room number, as well as the building name and street number, in addition to a printed map of their residence.

And before people start asking in which immigration is this and if this might be in their local office, i close the commenting,

Please read the complete question and if you like information about your own local immigration office, call them. Good luck

In CW not ask that yet?

Some Immigration Offices ask for more proofs than others, provide if you like to stay is the only way forward.

So the actually wanted proof of the address where you stay and where you are registered in their system.

This has nothing to do with this Extension of Stay as this registration has to be done within 24 hours after arrival according sections 37 and 38 of the Immigration act 1975.

I had my proof of my tm30, address registration etc. I even had a copy of rental agreement. Everytime I extend, they accept this. The immigration officer said that for the emergency extension, this is required.
