[Bangkok] Question related to application for 1-year extension based on marriage to Thai national:

Is it okay to use a selfie stick to take the required photos of ourselves and the condo? Or it's not allowed / not recommended?

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The use of a selfie stick for taking photos needed for a 1-year extension application based on marriage to a Thai national is generally not recommended, particularly according to specific immigration offices. While some users report no issues when using their phones for photos as long as they are printed and show the condo or house number, others have faced rejections when submitting selfies or specific formats requested by immigration officials. It's advisable to check with the local immigration office for their preferences.

We use our phone with no problems. We just got them printed off in a shop.

Depends on which immigration office or even officer you use. Jomtein rejected our “selfies” so I had to get the condo management lady to take them for us.

No problem as long as you print them and they can see your condo number or house number
