What Are the New Requirements for an O Visa Extension in Krabi?
Went to a Krabi Immigration today for my O Visa extension and discovered a new requirement (for me). Along with your other documents, need to submit a photo of you standing in front of your house, showing you and at least part of the house. Thought I should alert others.

The O visa is retirement. Photo was in front of house, but not showing house number as we don’t have it on the house. No photos of the inside. Already knew to provide map and GPS coordinates.

Answer summary
A recent update from a user regarding the O Visa (retirement) extension reveals that Krabi Immigration now requires a photo of the applicant standing in front of their residence, along with GPS coordinates and a map. This requirement is not uniformly enforced across Thailand, as other locations, such as Phuket and Bangkok, have varying rules.

Thanx for the update, we're done.
ALWAYS check with your immigration office BEFORE you need your extension to get the list of requirements.

maybe down there but it is NOT a requirement up here in Bangkok or at most of the immigration offices to get an extension based on retirement OR education.

I had to provide this for ED extension at Jomtien Immigration in 2018 too. 3 pics: one in front of the house, one showing house number, one inside.

Been on the books for a while but only enforced here in Phuket this year. Did they ask for a hand-drawn map?
