Hi do you know if you can just do a border run on a DTV? Don’t want to do extension and have to do all the paper work. I rather leave in the morning and come back same day for my dog.

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can do a border run with a DTV visa in Thailand. Various agencies offer border runs, although their pricing may be slightly higher than regular options. The process generally does not involve extensive questioning or examination, allowing for a quick entry and exit.

Yes you can. Without questioning or examination they'll stamp you out and back in.

Any big agency does border bounces including for DTV although the price is slightly higher than a regular stamp but you go in the same van regardless

You not pay for the work, but you pay for the result.

But why should the work be less?

yes but since you get a longer stamp they all take a bigger fee, that's the logic behind it, they're not really interested in extending the DTVs and would rather continue 60 days stamp trips as it's way more profitable

Anonymous participant 969 a Longer stamp, price is higher than a regular stamp, bigger fee, extending the DTV, 60 day stamp is way more profitable?

32 million visitors in Thailand this year all got the same FREE entry stamp with a admitted until date based on the used entry method.

Where did you go to pay for the entry stamp?

What are you even yapping about? I simply stated the modus operandi. Besides it's obviously about repeated border bounces for those who stay in the country longer with no proper visa and, yes, its still possible. If you want a third stamp you gotta go to Laos for 5k baht, etc etc
