What complications arise if I apply for a DTV nomad visa and enter Thailand while waiting for approval?

Any complications if you have applied for a DTV nomad visa and you come to Thailand in the meantime on holiday while waiting for approval? When you get approved while inside of Thailand, how it works? Thanks peeps in advance, much appreciated.

Also what if I am not in my country of residence and on business trip in another country ? When I get the DTV , can I just fly direct to Thailand or should I go back to my country first?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Applying for a DTV nomad visa while in Thailand can lead to complications, as it's advised to be outside Thailand during the application process. If you apply while in Thailand, your application might be denied, and you could forfeit your fees. Additionally, if the application is approved while you are abroad, you can enter Thailand from any country, but you must not be in Thailand during the application.

Some People have gotten away with it, but there are also people who get caught out, and have to reapply again because they get rejected.

Stay in the country where you made your DTV Visa Application UNTIL it is approved or not.

Pardon me BUT had you taken any time to read the many posts about your question, you would have already had the correct answer.

You can't be in Thailand during the application process. So, yes you'll get complications.

1. These are basic rules you should be aware of.

2. If you get an interview, you'll need to fly back to that country.

3. They may verify your location, and if you're found to be in Thailand, your application will be denied with no refund.
