Can I apply for both a DTV and a Non-O Visa simultaneously while in Thailand?

Possible stupid question incoming...

Is it possible to apply for 2 Evisas at one time? I have a 2 week window where I can leave Thailand before having to come back.

I would like to apply for the DTV, but I am afraid processing will take too long or I may be rejected for whatever random reason. I'm fairly certain I'd be approved for a non-immigrant O Visa, but would definitely prefer the DTV.

Is it possible to apply for the DTV and for a non-O as backup? I believe i meet the requirements for both.

Cheers group!

Do you intend to be a tourist or a resident of Thailand, that is the real question.

If you were to get one the other would be rejected so chose the one you want and go with that. The Non-O seems a much better visa to me for long term stay

Choose your DTV scheme and nearby embassy wisely for fast approvals and ensure you submit all required documents when you initially send them, including all pages of your passport.

Just apply for the one you think will match best with your purpose of stay, because that one has the best chance to get approved.

Visa are not rejected for random reasons, but because the embassy thinks you are not complying with requirements or you do not apply for the correct visa.

You can't hold two different visas at the same time. I wouldn't recommend to apply for two at the same time as it may create confusion.
