Was pretty anxious about applying but was pretty smooth.
Submitted:
- cover letter with information on my company as well as my company website
- 3 months bank statements showing over 500,000 baht
- company registration and official govt documents from my home country
- proof that my company is operating outside Thailand
Applied April 1, approved April 18.
I did use an agent to double check my documents for 10,000 baht. For me was worth the peace of mind.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully applied for a DTV Nomad visa in Phnom Penh, reporting a smooth application process. They provided key documents including a cover letter, bank statements, and company registration papers, and used an agent for document verification at a cost of 10,000 baht for peace of mind. Following approval on April 18, they received congratulatory comments and advice on important steps upon entering Thailand.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
You paid 10.000 THB for someone who will not take responsibility if there is a rejection ?!? Most people in this group know more about a DTV application than any agent on this planet 😆
