Hello,

We submitted a DTV application for my partner in Jakarta 10 days ago, but we haven’t received any update yet. Since I need to apply after her and we are planning to travel to Thailand within a week. Is there anything we can do to speed up the process?

Thank you very much for your help

Do not put any weight in those Statuses they can change both ways, and can’t be used for anything.

They quote 10 working days, not counting the day of submission. Friday is also a holiday. You need be patient and remain where you are until her process completes. Are you officially married to your partner and have a marriage certificate? If not there's no point waiting for her application to complete as you will have to make your own application independent of her

Thank you for your reply.

We are in a civil partnership in France (which unfortunately has no legal value here). I would prefer to wait for the response regarding my partner’s application, as we provided the

€ from our joint account and not from her personal account. I am therefore not 100% sure it will be accepted, and I would like to avoid losing $400 twice

Well, that’s too bad for her 😓 If I transfer €15,000 to her personal account, do you think that’s okay?

It can not be done now, believe the money need to be 3 months in account before applying.

They replied and asked me for proof that I am in Indonesia. I only sent the Airbnb booking.

What else can I send at most? Visa, photo…?

Since my visa expires on the 14th and I’m going to Kuala Lumpur afterward, is that a problem?

an entry stamp from your passport, a receipt from today with your name on it. I would send both. And you better hope the visa is issued before you leave
