What can we do if we are being kicked out of our company and losing our B visa and work permits?

Hey. I have a question about cancelling work permit and B visa. Me and my friend owns 49% of the company, but now that thai person who owns the 51% is about to kick is out of the company and cancel our visas and work permits. What options do we have and is it even possible to do that? Should we just go cancel our visas by ourselves and get out of the country and come back. Open new business without that person. Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the potential cancellation of their B visa and work permits by a Thai partner who owns 51% of their company. They seek options on how to proceed, considering canceling their visas voluntarily and re-entering Thailand to open a new business independently. Responses indicate that while their work permits may be canceled, they can maintain their Non-B visas and continue residing in Thailand. They can set up a new company and eventually need to obtain new work permits when gaining employment elsewhere.

The only thing you need to be aware of is that visas like that are usually "company specific", meaning it has the name of the company that gave you the documentation to get the visa on it (usually in thai).

That means you can't use it to work for another company, BUT you can stay here, set up a new company, look for work, etc on it without a problem. You would need to get a new visa when you get new work or open a new company but at this time you're fine staying on the year-multi-Non-B..

If that is 100% like you said, then we should be fine. We do have Non B multientry visas.

okay on that year-long, multi-entry Non-B visa (that you got from a thai consulate in another country) you can bounce out and back in every 90 days until the visa itself expires.

Even if the work permit gets canceled the VISA won't be and you can still use it and stay..
