This might be a wacky question, but do I have to get my bank account statement "translated" if my bank is not located in a country where neither Englisch nor Thai are an administrative language?
In other words:
My bank account statement's details (transfer references) are not in English but, in my case, in German. However, it's still obvious which transfers are a minus and which are a plus.
Thanks a lot for your attention! π
EDIT:
On ThaiEVisa it says that all documents must be in English or Thai. Does this include bank statements as well (regarding the subject of listed transfers)?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is uncertain whether their bank statement, written in German, needs to be translated into English or Thai for a visa application at the Thai embassy in Jakarta. They reference ThaiEVisa's requirement for documents to be in English or Thai and seek clarification on whether this applies to bank statements. Responses suggest that while the embassy might accept the statement in German, confirming directly with the embassy or being prepared for a translation if requested would be prudent.
You can try submitting an untranslated bank statement. I mean let's face it the information that's necessary is the name on the account, the account number and bank name, and the relevant amounts in the account. You can highlight these for the embassy, hopefully your name is in English on the account statement. You can try submitting that but be prepared to have translated version if they request translated English bank statement.

Can you see every comment?? You need to answer questions, we're not mind-readers.
Applying for a visa in Indonesia and thats why you need your bank statement translated? You could have written this in your post. They might accept an online translation.
I did add it to the post. Have a look at the last line.
It seems to be common sense, that Thai Embassys will always accept documents written in Thai or English, regardless where you apply. This is not a first hand information, but it kind of says that on most websites that I have looked up so far (y)
Don't forget that you're applying in Indonesia.German is not the preferred language at the Thai embassy. If you had applied in Germany, a bank statement in German would probably have worked.

That's why I postulated in my prior comment, that Thai and English are allegedly all-encompassing for Thai Embassys around the globe

The Thai consulate in Germany would probably accept documents in German. But contact them to confirm maybe ? Or just apply for the visa and see if they request a translation ?

What is the reason for the translation? Who is it for?
