Hello everyone! I'm planning to fly to Jakarta on Sunday to apply for the DTV Visa. I have a question: has anyone here ever used a Wise account statement as a bank statement for this purpose?

Did you transfer the required amount to a THB account to meet the 500,000 THB proof requirement? I usually use a Euro account for my salary, which is also paid in Euros, but I thought it might be easier to transfer it to a THB account and use that for proof.

Would love to hear any experiences or advice. Thank you! πŸ™πŸΌπŸ˜¬

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking advice on using a Wise account statement as proof of funds for the DTV Visa application, specifically questioning if they need to convert their funds into Thai Baht (THB) for this purpose. Responses indicate that Wise statements can be accepted and that conversion to THB is unnecessary, as equivalent amounts in other currencies are also valid.

Many people have had success with Wise bank statements, search the group. There is no need to convert into THB, an equivalent in any currency is accepted.

Wise is not a bank.

It is not but as it carries out many of the same functions it is often treated as such. DTVs are approved with Wise bank statements.

can you give a source of information that Thai Embassies accept Wise statements to satisfy the financial requirements for the issuance of visas? It’s easy to say but can you back it up with facts?
