Is it still required to show a flight ticket when entering Thailand as a tourist?
I have a friend arriving as a tourist. I assume the regular 30 day. He may extend.

Yes, rules did not change. Immigration can still ask
1. Proof of onward travel
2. Proof of finances, 20.000 Thb or equivelant in cash
