Ptp: I'm flying to Thailand for 4 days, I read somewhere that they are asking for 20k THB show money in immigration. Is that true? I'm from South East Asia too.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers to Thailand may be asked to provide proof of funds, specifically a show money of 20,000 THB or equivalent, as part of the immigration process. It's advisable for visitors to be prepared with evidence of funds, onward travel, and lodging to ensure smooth entry.

ANYONE can be asked for the 3-proof-ofz when stamping into the country

proof of 20K baht or the equivalent in CASH

proof of onward travel

proof of lodging

I'd say at least have the proof of funds, because if you're asked and can't show it you're denied entry.

As you are a seasoned experienced visitor to Thailand for several years, its best to be prepared as you have been questioned before by Thai Immigration.
