TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend your 90-day Non-Immigrant Visa to a one-year spouse visa in Thailand, you need to have ฿400,000 deposited in a Thai bank account for at least two months prior to applying. Unfortunately, the British embassy no longer certifies income, so you cannot use your pay slips as proof of income for this visa extension.

Sadly the British Embassy do not participate in certifying income from British nationals.

For the first year extension you will need the 400k in the bank deposited 2 months prior to applying for it because the British embassy no longer certify income. For the second year, if you deposit ฿40k+ every single month you can obtain the extension and further extensions that way instead.

12 month statement and letter from bank that they were international transfers.

if your embassy provides an income affidavit then you use that, if it doesn't you can use monthly transfer but will need a full 12 months of transfers each and every before applying for the extension. It must show as coming from overseas on your bank statements and in your bank book which will be the proof.
