TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion provides insights into the use of an income affidavit from the Canadian Embassy as verification for pension income when applying for a retirement extension in Thailand. Participants shared experiences and directed to the specific requirements for the O-A visa, emphasizing that this type of visa must be obtained in Canada. They recommended checking recent reports from other Canadians regarding the O-A visa process.

Canadians are lucky...can still use income affidavit from their Embassy.

The O-A visa is an excellent choice. Only can be obtained in your home country Canada.

Read TOPIC : O-A visa.

And use search tool top of page : O-A visa... And Add Canada. There have been recent good and helpful reports from Canadians who recently got the O-A.

Good luck.

if it is about the retirement Extension at your local Immigration office, as far as I know you can still use the income affidavit from your Embassy as proof of monthly income of minimum 65.000 Thb.
