What are the steps and requirements for obtaining a soft power DTV visa for Thailand?
Thanks to everyone who has posted so much useful information on this group.
Hopefully this will help someone.....
Initially applied for a soft power DTV on the 13th August and got my visa approved yesterday, the 19th, so under 1 week.
Additional information I was asked for.....
A double page passport scan, I only scanned the main page.
An introduction letter explaining why I was applying for a DTV and proof of how I would fund the entire time.
A letter declaring I would not be working.
A letter stating I would not leave my country until the visa process was completed.

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.
That's what you should do... print it out.
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
