TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a tourist visa in Thailand, you can potentially prove financial funds without a bank statement, as not all embassies require this. However, if your funds are cash-based, proving their availability may be difficult. It's also important to check whether health insurance is necessary for your visa application and to look for affordable options for obtaining it.

Is it in an account of some kind? If it's cash, I doubt you can prove you have the funds.

Not all/many embassies require a bank statement for a tourist visa.

OP could ask if it's needed though.

Most do. It's best to have it, since it might prolong your visa application (or get it downright rejected at some very strict embassies/consulates).
